Mary Nicholas, MD (1940-2026), was a physician and research librarian, earning a degree in theology from the John Paul II Institute. She channeled her many intellectual gifts into diverse careers spanning art, education, writing, medicine, and law. She was an active member of the University Faculty for Life fellowship which promotes research, dialogue and publication by faculty who respect the value of human life. She was a frequent contributor to publications such as American Thinker and Canada Free Press, writing on anti-communism, pro-life bioethics, feminism, religion, and conservative cultural issues.
