Trustworthy authentic program
This is part of a unique course developed by Tan Books that seems to be gaining popularity, particularly in the homeschooling world. Catholic Heritage Curricula just added lesson plans for it to their high school courses. What I most appreciate about it is that it not only draws upon original sources, but it actually includes a reader with the set that features these sources. Like they say, "go to the source!" It is very true, especially when we are dealing with such high-stakes information! I am grateful to know that American students can read the actual documents of our founding fathers and make just, intelligent decisions based upon those documents in their personal and political lives. I admit, the set is a bit aesthetically poor, which I am disappointed about, because there are so many awesome graphics nowadays. Other than that, however, it is a trustworthy, authentic program that gets to the heart of the matter. The online courses can be purchased separately or with the set.
