      Excellent, heirloom resource!

Posted by Katie on Feb 19th 2024

St. Alphonsus Liguori's wisdom often pops up in Lenten devotionals and resources- I love this collection of reflections all in one giftable, heirloom book. This is included my personal stack of Lenten reading (and likely will be each year!) and I anticipate enjoying it as much as "The Road to Bethlehem" which I read this past Advent.

We not only get beautiful Lenten reflections on Christ’s passion, but we also find beautiful reflections like, “The Happiness of Heaven."

A must read for Lent and Easter!

Posted by Christina on Feb 4th 2024

Lent is less than two weeks away and I am planning on reading this wonderful book "The Road to Calvary."  It a beautiful book of daily meditations by St. Alphonsus Liguori that will be read from Ash Wednesday through Easter. I could not wait to begin on Ash Wednesday and already started to read some passages. This is a must-read and a wonderful book to add to your collection. While I had to stop myself from reading too far (temperance!), this book can be read year after year during Lent, or whenever you need a gentle reminder of the ultimate sacrifice that Our Lord paid for our sins.
