
Anne W. Carroll
Anne Carroll is a lifelong leader in Catholic education and cofounder of several cornerstone institutions in the American Church. Wife of the late Dr. Warren Carroll, founder of Christendom College, she was instrumental in the founding and early development of the college, while also serving for decades as executive director of Seton School and founder of Seton Home Study. Over a career spanning more than 50 years, Carroll’s work has shaped generations of Catholic students. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the St. Thomas More Award, an honorary doctorate from Christendom College, and the St. Catherine of Siena Award. Most recently, she was awarded the Benemerenti Medal by Pope Leo XIV, a papal honor recognizing her lifelong service to the Catholic Church and Catholic education in America.
