Very few textbooks do that, which is what makes this book especially valuable. \n\nThere are also inspirational parts, such as this quote: Blessed Nicolas Steno, one of the founders of modern geology, said: Beautiful is what we see. More beautiful is what we comprehend. Most beautiful is what we do not comprehend.ù We usually think of beauty as a property of physical objects, but ideas and thought can be beautiful too. And this book has many beautiful thoughts.
