Excellent Read. Highly recommend
St. Albert handles a huge subject deftly, and with precision. Each virtue is taken on in relatives few pages (appx 3-5) making this book perfect for meditation, review, and prep for confession. An easy read with clear footnotes. I highly recommend for Catholics of all ages pre-teen and above.

The Paradise of the Soul
St. Albert the Great writes clearly and concisely and is easy to understand. The book is very practical. After describing a virtue, he gives examples of what the true version of the virtue looks like in our lives and then what the false version looks like. I hope that more books are made available in English from the Doctors of the Church.

Classic book - very straighforward
Probably the best book I've seen on building virtue. Purchased the ebook but I will purchase again when it comes out in paperback. Sometimes the writings of the saints from hundreds of years ago can be a little tricky to grasp, but this book is very accessible and easy to understand.

A Tool To Help You Grow in Virtue
Well first, I never knew that St. Albert the Great wrote on the virtues. Amazing book for those who are truly seeking to become Saints! Loved the “Concord” chapter. If we do not strive to be in concord with God and our neighbors, what exactly are we doing here?
