The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations (Complete Set)
From the Visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich · Published by TAN Books
Overview
This is the complete four-volume set. The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations stands among the most extraordinary works of Catholic devotional literature ever committed to print. Drawn from the reported visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, this monumental work invites readers into an immersive contemplation of Sacred Scripture and the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Beginning with the creation of the world and continuing through the establishment of the early Church, Emmerich's visions traverse the great sweep of salvation history. Readers encounter accounts concerning the fall of the angels, Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood, the patriarchs, St. Anne, St. Joseph, St. John the Baptist, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Mary Magdalen, the Apostles, and numerous other figures whose lives prepare for or participate in the coming of Christ.
At the center of all four volumes stands Jesus Christ Himself. His Nativity and hidden years, public ministry and miracles, teachings and journeys, Passion and Death, glorious Resurrection and Ascension are presented with remarkable narrative detail. Familiar episodes from the Gospels unfold within a larger devotional landscape, encouraging readers to slow down, contemplate the mysteries of Christ's earthly life, and recognize the infinite love of God revealed through His Son.
These accounts are not a substitute for Sacred Scripture, nor are the details of private revelation articles of faith. Rather, they offer material for prayerful meditation that can help readers approach the biblical narrative with renewed attention and devotion. For generations, Catholics have turned to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich's visions precisely because of their ability to make the scenes of salvation history vivid to the Christian imagination.

Walk Through the Life of Jesus Christ
The sheer scope of Emmerich's visions allows readers to remain with the earthly life of Jesus in a way few devotional works permit. Places, journeys, conversations, customs, and personalities surround the Gospel narrative, providing abundant material for meditation. Rather than rushing from one familiar event to another, readers are encouraged to linger over the mysteries and contemplate the Person of Christ at the center of them.
From Creation to the Founding of the Church
Christ's earthly life appears within the much greater drama of God's plan for mankind. The volumes reach backward into Creation and the Old Testament and forward through the Resurrection, Ascension, and beginnings of the Church. This sweeping perspective helps readers contemplate the unity of salvation history and see the events of Scripture as parts of one divine plan fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
How Catholics Should Approach These Visions
Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich's accounts belong to the category of private revelation. They do not add to the deposit of faith and should not be treated as substitutes for Sacred Scripture or as definitive historical accounts of biblical events. Catholics are free to read such works prudently as aids to devotion, receiving what helps them meditate more deeply upon Christ and the truths already revealed through Scripture and Tradition.
Intended Audience
This complete set is ideal for Catholics seeking deeper meditation on the life of Jesus Christ, readers of classical Catholic spirituality, students of Sacred Scripture, clergy and religious, and serious lay readers drawn to contemplative prayer. It is particularly valuable for those who want an expansive spiritual work they can read slowly over months or years while continually returning to the Gospels themselves.

Life changing revelations for me
The revelations are so precise and detailed, coming from a modest 19th century German nun that there is no way they were invented. The insights into early humanity are more extraordinary than any fiction I have read. More importantly yet, you get to live many biblical events as if you were there yourself. You voyage with Jesus day after day from place to place throughout the Middle East and get to understand how he weaved the fabric of early church. Best of all, the details of his passion will transform your spiritual life forever. The most fundamental book I'vehad along with the revelations of St Catherine of Genoa. An absolute MUST READ.

life of Christ
Best set of books I'veever read and they changed my life. I often think of them and in fact, I was thinking about her and the books when I got up to get a drink of water. Then I saw this in my email in-box. Coincidence? God has a plan and these books are so enlightening you will be inspired. I do believe Anne Catherine Emmerick is a saint in heaven. The demons don;t want her pronounced a saint so that more people read these books. They want to keep people away from the books.
