Great gift for both my 1st Holy communion and confirmation candidates
I love the format as it will help reinforce what has been read to my first holy communion class. I also purchased them as gift for my first Holy Communion class and one for my grandson whom is a confirmation candidate next year.

Quick Bible lessons that certainly aren’t lacking in content!
These Bible lessons are quick and short. We use this program in the schoolhouse model of our homeschool, so all my children- no matter their age- will participate. The short lessons are great for younger children, but the content is rich enough that the older children won’t be bored. In fact, as a convert, I’m learning from this book too! I love That the books of the Bible are spelled in the way of the Douay Rheims Bible- that’s what we read from when we read directly from the Bible. The lessons are the perfect length so you can squeeze them in, or you can expand on them as much as you want. This is becoming a favorite as my young children are getting to know the Bible stories. It is a super slim book that could easily get long on your book shelf. We keep ours right in the front since we read from this daily. It’s a must for your elementary aged children!

I love to read it during the trip in the MBTA Ride to Waltham (St. Jude) for the Sunday also inside the church between two masses (8:30 am and 10:30 am).

I bought this for my other granddaughter as a birthday gift. I hope she wiil enjoy the stories from this Bible History as much as I did at her age.

Nice, slim book
This is a great little book for kids to read bible stories. The illustrations are nice to have, too. I wish there were a book of kids bible stories that excerpted the actual biblical text instead of paraphrased retellings.
