In this ground-breaking book, Colleen Hammond challenges today's fashions and provides you the information you need to protect yourself and your loved ones from the onslaught of tasteless, immodest clothing. Colleen Hammond shares real-life examples of how women can accentuate the grace and beauty of their femininity, and she shows that "modest" definitely does not mean "frumpy."

Dressing with Dignity covers it all: the history and forces behind the changes in fashion; how to talk to teenagers about the privilege of femininity so they will want to dress with dignity; how to awaken chivalry in men and be treated with respect; how to regain and teach the lost charm of interior and exterior femininity; how to dress in an attractive, dignified, classy manner; specific documents about manners of dress from the Magisterium, the Popes and the Saints; comprehensive guidelines for choosing tasteful attire; resources on where to find beautiful, modest clothing; and much, much more!

      Dressing with Dignity

      Posted by Nellie/Harahan on May 24th 2023

Purchased, read, distributed many copies when it first came out. It is even more relevant today. The styles in clothes are even more offensive than they were back then and definitely offend the Sacred Heart of Jesus as our Lady warned at Fatima and today she is seeking emphasis on purity in her Our Lady of America messages. It is time to promote this book again. Sadly our clergy do not seem to consider it important to pay attention to our Lady;s requests in this area so It's up to us lay people to again sound the alarm. If you have updated copies of the flyers that were available back then (a suppply of which I stil have but pricing etc. out of date) I would be interested. I proviidently accidentally threw away my last copy which I was going to give a Mother with 4 girls with the hope of fanning the flames of a purity crusade. I'm sure ther are many others of your customers who might welcome your renewed promotion of this book. Is the author still alive and do you have any other pertenant literature?

      DRESSING WITH DIGNITY

Posted by Nancy B. on May 24th 2023

Am a 70+yrs grandma and retired RN. 100% Catholic, by choice and born/bred. Have plenty of grandkids to worry about, esp in this day and age, thanks to my 6 kids. This book has been the best I'veever read. Will be trying to buy in bulk as soon as our priest is able to read the book. I have 3 sons that are especially interested in saving the virtue of their daughters (thank the Eternal Father!) and are pushing him to allow Dressing With Dignity in his parish. Hoping to offer it for FREE. God bless this author. She puts being a woman back into womanhood.

      This book inspired me to

Posted by Hong L. on Apr 8th 2022

This book inspired me to dress modestly and to promote it to other women. I bought extra copies and donated them at my parish. I hope other women and mother will help the younger generation learn more about how to dress with dignity and holiness, and ultimately aspire to imitate our Lady.
