For those who have an idea of the numerous Bibles out there from which one may select, the Douay-Rheims, in modern parlance, is the Real Deal of the Sacred Word of God, the absolute best. I could not believe this Treasure of treasures being offered by Tan at $5.00 per copy! I felt like the Good Thief stealing a Heavenly gift from the Cross. I bought four for family and friends, having earlier provided most with hardbound copies, and expect to buy more. This paperback pocketbook, 1408 pages, weighing 1 ¾ pounds, 5.5 x 1.25 x 8.13 inches, with good size font is the ABC ideal for auto, bed, church, and then some.
