I really love the size, the font size and style, and the paper. It&#039;s very easy to read and a pleasure to hold in the hands. That being said, it didn&#039;t take long for the gold lettering on the front and spine to rub off (although this isn&#039;t a big deal for me). I think the leatherflex cover doesn&#039;t allow for it to sink in as it would with other materials. Also, I wish this Bible had Old Testament maps in the back instead of pictures (this is a bigger deal for me). Old Testament maps are very helpful and would make this good Bible even better. Overall, I&#039;m very happy with my purchase. In other words, the Bible is not so large that it has to lie on a desk to be read. The print is very good and clear, the red lettering is great, easily read. The actual translation is my favorite, though I read the others also. I am one of those converts who grew up on the KJV, whose language I love. With the Douay-Reheims translation, I get the quality of the KJV, but much better because it has all the books needed for the Catholic Bible.
