Beautifully made
I love this Bible. It is well-made, and the cover is exactly what I expected and wanted. I was afraid I was getting a Bible without the red letters, but I was wrong. it is not in my plan to ever buy another Bible but if I do it will be this one. Thank you for a wonderful Bible.

This bible from Tan books/St.Benedict press is superb! I love the transition, the notes and all the extras. The paper and print is excellent as well. Size is perfect. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars has to do with the binding. I am certain it's a glued binding. It started to come apart after about 18 months of daily use. ..however, this is my second purchase because everything else is outstanding.

I love this Bible
I love the leatherette cover of this bible. the pages are a good weight and the text is very readable. This is my favorite translation of the bible and I will read it every day that it holds up... which should be awhile as it is very well built!

Wonderful Translation
I love the Douay Rhiems translation, and this edition is beautiful. The cover is flexible like leather and seems very durable. I also like the color, not too red, more wine. It's a great size to carry with you too, and usually other people in the classes I attend have other translations, so this adds variety, and in my experience it has helped me understand the subtle meaning of some passages better. The language is different but I'venever had a problem understanding it. I thought the translation might be similar to the KJV, but It's totally different since this is a translation of the Latin Vulgate whereas KJV is a translation of the Greek Septuagint. Every serious Bible student should have this version as a compliment to other translations. It really adds depth to study comparatively.
