A book you’ll read over and over
My favorite spiritual books are those that get better the more you read them. This is definitely one of them. Fr. Nixon’s Commentaries podcast is a perfect companion.

Very deep but very powerful. Need to read it slowly and with much reflection. Suffers a bit from the pedantic writing style common to the 17 th century. I have only read about 19% so far.

All Time Best Devotional!
This is far and away my favorite devotional. When I have read it through, I just start over again at the beginning. I never fail to find fresh insights! (I must confess though that the version I read is longer as it contains responses to letters written to him for spiritual advice).
