Just purchased this. It was a super bargain at $10.00. I have pros and cons. Pros, the print size is great. I also like the fact that it is RSV/CE, instead of the RSV/CE2. I prefer the formal language in the psalms. It seems more dignified when addressing God. Cons, first I wish it was a red-letter edition. I have complete bible from this publisher, and it is red letter and I really love it. My biggest complaint are the various inserts. They are ae great, but wish they were printed on the same type of paper as the rest of the volume. By using such heavy paper, it makes the book very stiff and difficult to keep open. Certainly, can'tlay it flat. Having said that, at $10.00 it is a real value.

Beautifully bound, compact yet easy to read Gods Holy Word makes a great gift, I bought one for my brother and he really likes it. My elderly Dad liked it too as he could read the larger typeface in this handy New Testament and Psalms. Would also make a good travel size NT to carry with oneself. There are various reflections inserted in between books of the Bible for those striving to be a good man in the example of Saint Joseph, and that along with the masculine cover is what makes this edition more ideal for men yet Gods Holy Word contained within is for everyone.

I'vebeen looking for a book of the Psalms for a while to no avail. When I saw this book "New Testament and Psalms for Men"I ordered it immediately. Not only did I get my Book of Psalms, but also the entire New Testament. I have now added to my daily Spiritual reading, 1 Psalm and 5 Chapters of the New Testament starting with the Gospel of Matthew.

Having this book is "life changing". I keep it with me and read a part of it daily. The "extra" pages inserted every so often. are great prayer opportunities during the work day. I will be buying more of these as gifts for other men to discover this life changer. Thank you.
